Be Safe in Forest Hills
There have been four reported incidents of property crime in the neighborhood in the last 10 days. They include a day-time burglary, a night-time effort to break down an outside door while residents were at home, theft of a motorized toy and theft of items in an unsecured vehicle.

Beward SCAM in Neighborhood
Forest Hills and surrounding neighborhoods have been preyed upon by 2 Caucasian males in their early to mid-20s. These young men have stated that they lived in the neighborhood and were collecting money for children, sports programs and various other seemingly generous things.

Manning Street Home Construction
The Columbia Housing and Development Corporation reports that the contracts for three Manning Street houses (the relocated ones) have been sent to City Council and should appear on the next agenda. Work will begin almost immediately once approved by Council.
